Question
I have a CD Rom for Money 2005 and I installed it on another computer I have in the office and then copied the data from my Methodist Church Money files on this computer and tried to copy it to that computer, but it wouldn't work!

Since the program file is legitimate I don't know why the data was not accepted on that computer?? It just keeps saying that my data disc was a Read Only File.

Where did I go wrong? It worked okay on this computer on this desk but not the other one...........

Answer
Are you trying to read the file from a CD/R disk? If so, that explains the Read Only. If you copied the file from a CD/R disk you may have also copied the Read Only attribute. Find the file using Windows Explorer, right click and select properties and see if Read Only is checked.

Hope this helps
