Business Software/Office 97 vs WXP

Question
In another question you replied that Office 98 would un on WXP.  My copy is OEM & on another forum it is suggested that it would not run on WXP.
It wouldn't even install on W98 until I found out, from a knowledgeable & cooperative vendor, that I had to create the entity C:\Windows\Options\opkwiz.tag.  Then everything was fine.
I am wondering if something like this can be done for WXP.

Thanks for your help.

Answer
There is no such thing as Office 98. I never had any problems running Office 97 under Win 98. I'm currently on a Win XP machine and I have the last 4 versions of Office (97, 2K, XP and 2003) all installed and running fine. I don't have that file on my machine and never heard of it.
