Hi Scott

Do you know of any software that you can install that would enable you to copy text from any program and store it on the clipboard under a keystroke so that when you want to paste the text all you need to do is click the correct keys?

Different keystrokes would need to be able to be programmed to have different copies of text associated with them.

I have Windows 2000.

Actually there are several. I would suggest going to tucows.com and search on Clipboard. You should find several clipboard enhancment utilities that allow you store multiple items in your clipboard and recall the specified item.

Another type of program you might look at is a macro program. I use one (AimKeys-www.aimsoft.com) that allows me to store text or keystrokes to play back later. I use it to store answers to frequently asked questions.
