Question
Hello,
I bought two domain names one a regular .com and the other a .org. If I wanted to use the .org on a for profit business would this be legal? Any help would be appreciated.
                  Sincerely,
                  Skyler

Answer
The usages of the top-level domain names are general guidelines, not legal requirements. So it wouldn't be illegal to use a .org domain for a for profit business. But I would advise against it. Many people would take exception to the unethical nature of doing so. It would be considered misleading by many people which would affect their attitudes towards your business.
