Business Software/first choice 3.5

QuestionThanks for the info. What would you recommend at a reasonable price if you know the price? Of course I'd want it very easy to use and print out and take home to work on also. The report is only a used car inventory list which they want sorted in different orders such as year, model, stock #, etc with 10-11 colums on 8 1/2 by 11 paper. Thanks again.

It's set up under a windows version and that's what's so strange is that the company is still using it - it seems so old and non-user friendly. Thanks anyway!-------------------------

HELP
I just started a new job at a new company & I have to print a report but I have no manual or guidelines on it. I've been following the help screen.
I'm trying to print a report from a database on it but when it gets to the "print to" field, it says it doesn't recognize the subdirectory or something like that. The default here doesn't look like a proper printer set up.
Is there any way around this to get a print out. The printer is an epson stylus color 440. Plese be specific. Thank you!

Is First Choice the software you are using? If so, I haven't used that program in ages. I haven't a clue how to get it top work. I don't even recall if it has a Windows version. I doubt if that printer is supported under DOS.
Sorry I can't help more.

It definitely is old. If it is a Windows version its from the early days of Windows 3.x. I do recall it but Microsoft Office way outstripped it.
I would suggest you recommend to the company then convert what they have before it dies completely on them.
I did a search and found this site that might be helpful:

AnswerDo they have Microsoft Office? You can probably use Excel if its a simple database. If you want to get a little fancier you can use Microsoft Access. You might also look at Lotus SmartSuite. You can get this very cheaply and the included Lotus Approach is an easy to use database manager.
Hope this helps,
