Question
I have a office 97 disk that i am trying to load onto my computer but i lost the cd case that it came in and i need the 11 digit cd key code that was written on the back of the case. which i think was a silly place to put it. but none the less can i obtain another number or some way to get the cd to load?

Answer
Excuse me? The CD storage case (not much thicker then the CD itself) designed to protect the CD is a silly place to put the CD key???? Where else would you put it??? Stamping it onto the CD itself would increase the cost of production.

If its a legal copy of Office 97 and you registered it, then Microsoft should be able to provide a key for you. Check the Contact Us page at Microsoft.com.

Hope this helps,
