Dear Ask Kaylyn,
I have written a text for the acknowledgment section of my thesis. Since I am not a native I would like to ask you to check it and let me know about the required modifications.

here is the text:

This thesis arose in part out of years of research that has been done since I came to 000 University. By that time, I have worked with a group of people whose contribution in assorted ways to the research and the making of the thesis deserved special mention. It is a pleasure to convey my gratitude to them all in my humble acknowledgment.
In the first place, I would like to express my great appreciation to my supervisor, Professor 000 000, for the opportunity to do this research in his laboratory, and for his guidance, continuous encouragement and support throughout these years of my Ph.D study in 000 University.
Here I would acknowledge other staff of the Laboratory of 0000 of 0000 University. I would like to thank Associate Professor 000 000 and Mr. 000 000 who give me gracious support and help.
I was extraordinarily fortunate in having Dr.000 000 as my professor in 000 University. I could never have embarked and started all of this without his prior teachings and encouragements thus opened up unknown areas to me. Thank you vey much.
Words fail me to express my appreciation to my wife 000 whose love has taken the load off my shoulder. I owe her for being patient during all the time I was far from her during my study. If they gave out awards for the best student’s wife, she would win it.
Where would I be without my family? My parents deserve special mention for their inseparable support and prayers. My Father, in the first place is the person who put the fundament my learning character, showing me the joy of intellectual pursuit ever since I was a child. My mother is the one who sincerely raised me with her caring and gently love. 000, 000 and 000 thanks for being supportive and caring siblings.
I am very grateful to Dr.000 for his assistances when I started this research. Also I would like to thank Dr.Li for his encouragements. Here is a huge thanks to my colleagues, Mr.000, Mr.000, Mr.000 and Mr.000 who supported me with their kindness and friendship.
Thanks also to the staff of Graduate School of Engineering who helped me a lot during my study in 000 University.
