Business & Technical Writing/hyperlinks in texts

Question
is it appropriate to divide hyperlink reference/citation (just as
information listing) for example in a reference listing, bibliography, etc.

Answer
Normally, hyperlinks should not break across a line if you want them to be real hyperlinks. But sometimes it is necessary because they are too long in their own right to fit on a single line. But the convention seems to be that if the hyperlink pulls itself to the next line, let it.

Hope this helps.
