Business & Technical Writing/American English

Question
Dear Mr. Smith,

I am now working on a project where the text is changed to American English from British. I would be thankful if you could suggest certain differences in a lucid way, I mean not too technical.

Thanks,
Hareesh

Answer
The differences are not terribly great. There are some differences in spellings (realisation/realization, for example) and some differences in use of certain terms. But I can't very easily list a bunch of differences. I could look at  the transformation and offer suggestions about how an American might phrase some particulars, but that's about all.

Sorry.
