Business & Technical Writing/Editorial question

Question
What is the difference in an academic journal between an Erratum and a Corrigendum?

Answer
I will confess to never having come across the latter before. So I looked them both up. They pretty close to being synonyms.  They both appear to be an error in a printed work that is published with correction after the printing of the original. I don't think that in an academic journal the meaning would change.
