Question
Can you please help me out I need to know what the difference between a formal meeting, semi formal and informal meeting is.  Also what are the roles and responsibilities of the following Chairperson, deputy charperson, secretary and tresurer in a meeting format. One last request what in meeting terms does "tabled" mean.  If you could help me out that would be a great help.  Thanks

Answer
Sorry this took so long. The site seems to have been having difficulty.

Chairperson: Directs the course of the meeting.
Deputy Chairperson: Directs the course of the meeting in the absence of the chairperson.
Secretary: Records the proceedings of the meeting.
Treasurer: Reports on the organization's finances.

Hope this helps.
