Hi I am currently writing a script for a leaning about computers DVD, this is the second DVD I have written a script for, the question is once its complete I am going to need someone who is experienced in technical writing to check through and edit as necessary as I am not a professional writer and I believe that this sometimes shows in the script content.

Could you possibly tell me who the best person to contact for this type of enquiry?

And what possible costs will be involved?

I do not normally make recommendations of this kind. There is a technical writing professional organization who you can contact. Society for Technical Communications stc.org.

The writer's rates vary from region to region and topic to topic, so frankly I cannot give you any prices. The STC may be able to help. Usually, the rates are by the hour.
