Question
What does eyes, ears and belly button have to do with good speeches?

Answer
The question should read, "What DO eyes, ears and belly button have to do with good speeches?"

Having noted that, the first two are obvious: both speakers and listeners are dependent on auditory and visual perception during the course of a speech.

Belly buttons are beyond me.

Hope this helps.
