Question
hello there,
i need to write a letter from a responsible person(eg teacher), confirming information about my date&place of birth, and then give it to him to sign so i can send it off to a college i'm applying to. could u please help me with a structure of this kind of letter?
thanks

Answer
Nattalie,

Sorry for the late reply. I have not been able to access the AllExpert website for the last couple of days.

Your date and place of birth should be verifiable by a certificate. A letter is not a legal document, especially if it is from a teacher.

Any letter that makes a statement like what you are describing also should be notarized. The letter is very simple. Use a standard letter form and make one statement giving the information you want to say.
