Question
If I am business owner, how can I write a letter to the local visa office to prove that one of my employees is working under me? I want to put his salary and position in my letter. Would you send me a sample letter? What is the name used for such letters.

Answer
I don't have a form letter for that purpose. Just address the letter to the office and explain that the person is employed by you and give his title and salary. Just format it as you would a normal business letter. Put it on your company's letterhead stationery if you have one. You might contact the office and ask if they need it notarized. If they do, have that done.

I am not aware of a name for this kind of letter.

Hope this helps.
