Question
Hi
Please could you tell me if a quorum as part of a committee can be related to each other? i.e mother and daughter ,partners etc.

That would depend entirely on the bylaws of the particular organization. For example, the board of directors of a family-owned corporation might very well all be related to each other.
But in every case, what constitutes a quorum is defined in the bylaws. If the bylaws do not define a quorum, there is no rule.
