Question
how to write a letter of resignation

Answer
Generally, it is a good idea to express some regret at terminating the employment relationship and appreciation for your experiences while there. Say simply that you have decided to accept opportunities elsewhere and give an ending date. Usually two weeks notice is considered sufficient.

Even if the circumstances of your departure are less than pleasant, don't be unpleasant in this letter. You have made your decision for what are presumably good reasons, but you do not want to create animosity with a former employer if it can be avoided.

Hope this helps.
