hi expert
I'm doing an english analytical report which presents suggested solutions to problems such as reports of scientific research, feasibility reports by firms etc. The topic i was thinking of doing is on the updating of a computer software/system or an Executive Information system at workplaces to allow employees to work efficiently etc..

I was just wondering if you can give me some ideas to get me started as to the type of software,  alternatives, criteria and weights and allow for comparison to enable the reader to know what choice is best and why it's best choice. Can you give me posible ideas in how to organize around criteria, discussing alternatives under criteria and how you compare and the choice.
Thank you!

Answer -
Just set the criteria and write a paragraph or so about how each is important and how different product meet the criteria. You'll need and introduction and a conclusion, but the body seems a natural to me.

Answer
I have given you a head start. But to go a bit further, I would either take an example of an existing company or make one up. Whichever, describe it briefly and establish that greater efficiency in some areas would be a good thing. That would be your introduction.

Next, Describe some ways in which you might achieve greater efficiency. For example, more effective communication among executives, standardized ways of doing things, etc.... Those would be your criteria. Then show how the software or system upgrade you contemplate would accomplish meet those criteria.

Wrap it up with a short visualization of how much better off the company will be.

Hope this helps.
