I came across your question to Joel and I wanted to suggest maybe working for a travel agency. You would be amazed some of the perks they get.
Another opportunity maybe working for the State Department. Just stay out of Iraq. I still don't think its safe there, even in the green zone.

I have travelled on business to 37 countries in the past 4 years -- visiting 4 or 5 major cities in one 7-day trip ! All this out of Chicago (my home base).
