Dear Joel,

I am doing research on the costs of hotels for their peak times & non-peak times for the major US cities. Can you recommend any website that would be  helpful?

Very difficult to locate one site with all the information -- most of the online sites (Travelocity, Expedia, Hotels.com etc) seem to list the same properties/same prices.  I would advise starting with individual hotel chain websites (Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, etc) which will give you benchmarks then go to the consolidated sites to see how those prices match -- one big word of advice .... and that is to get the best deals on hotel deals, go to the hotel sites on a MONDAY -- that is the day they post "internet specials" for that immediate future.
