Question
Jim, I bought a condo in june and my title company still hasnt recorded my deed to the city register, is there any reason why they would not record it, also the have the original documents can i pick it up from them, so i can go record it myself, would they release it or do i need to supoena MY documents?

I suspect that the overflow of work for Lenders & Title Companies processing Foreclosures has created a serious Backlog in some areas--perhaps yours!The failure of your "Closing Agent" to record your Ownership Documents with the local Authorities is likely just someone's OVERSIGHT!
You and the Realtor that helped you with your purchase should take your copies of the Closing Papers to the Title Company and meet with a Title Officer.He/she should help you get things taken care of.
