what can i do with my situation?my realtor doesn't help any. From the day of closing on a Fri. by Sunday found a pipe problem plumbers were sent said its a long time problem. pipes no good under house. seller did not disclose this info. after me raising hell everywhere is when my realtor helped me.got another plumber out to my home.said a differ story its a problem in masterbedroom shower only..realtor got in contact with seller agreed to fix this problem then sent a letter for me to sign and take to a notary..now the truth came up after this that there is a real problem with all drainage! what can i do now? does this letter they got me to sign hurt me?

Answer
Since I am not able to read the letter, Tammy, I strongly suggest you take it to a REAL ESTATE attorney. Yes, it'll cost you a little, but it'll be lots less than what that plumbing problem will cost if you don't have the seller take care of it. The attorney will probably ask you for your copy of the seller's disclosure on the problem. A good attorney would probably require the seller to FIX ALL the plumbing. Period. I know that is what I would do. The seller obviously tried to get away with something. I do wish you well.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
