Buying or Selling a Home - Finding Distant Wholesale Customers

Expert: Heather - 4/14/2008

Question
Good day! I wholesale real estate live in the Metro Detroit, MI area.  I recently learned that there are investor's from around the nation that are buying homes here in the Metro Detroit area because of how cheap they are and they are in turn renting them out because of the incredible cash flow with very little purchase prices.

Would you happen to know any techniques that would allow me to connect with some of these investors in around the country?  For my customers I provide appraisals, rehab estimates, and  property managers.  I also supply the contact information to my appraisers, contractors, and property managers so that the customer can be as comfortable as possible with their investment.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer
Hi Alvin - There are a lot of investor boards all over the internet that you can join.  Some are free, some have a small fee.

thecreativeinvestor.com
totalfinancialliberty.com
rehablist.com

Plus there are a number of groups on yahoo.  Also, join your local investors club.  Call anyone who's running an I Buy Houses ad or from a bandit sign in your neighborhood.

Good luck in your new venture.
