Question
if we have signed a contract on a home and it is under contract can another agent still show the home to other potential buyers? Can they out bid us still even though it is already under contract?

Dear Jennifer;
Other agents are still able to show the home if the seller authorizes this as a way of getting back up bids.  Even though you have a signed contract there are probably some contingent items such as getting the loan.  If the deal falls through the sellers may want to have someone else in a back up position.  This might mean that they could bid higher than you did but unless you default on your contract or have a contingency fall through, the home is yours and they cannot sell it to anyone else.
