Question
I made an offer on the same day the house was listed to the market with the exact list price. the agent didnt contact me after couples of calls and she told me the house in contract after 5 days from my offer and told I am the first one submitted i feel the agent used me  when she asked to make an offer.  What do you think what is going on?   Thanks

Answer
Dear Ashraf;
I am not at all sure what happened but can guess that they got a better offer.  It seems like the agent might have contacted you to ask for another offer after getting a better one but again, I don't know what the seller had requested. There are many reasons that your offer may not have been accepted.  It is not just about the price but can be about the closing date, contingencies, and loan qualifications.

I think that you should probably contact the listing agent's firm and speak with the managing broker to ask these questions and voice your complaint.  You should expect to get a reasonable explanation.

Good luck and best wishes,

Experience

Anyone who is in this business and who dedicates oneself to professionalism has continued to take classes and along with it,additional credentials, awards and honors. I can list a host of them, but my greatest accomplishments happen to be those of getting first time buyers (who didn't think they could afford to buy a home)into a home of their dreams. The look on their faces when I hand over the keys is worth all of the hard work.
