Question
I want to sell my Mobile home. This is why. my Fiance asked me to buy a Home with her 4yrs ago. I asked her if she was sure, because buying a home was life long commitment. She said,"yes". Now 4yrs later she said that she wasn't ready to settle down. What can I do sell this house?
I am not sure what your home looks like, but in general, do the following:
1) Make sure that you clean your home top to bottom and keep it that way till the home sells. Any items needed to be fixed should be completed now. Any stains on the carpet should be removed or the carpet should be replaced.
2) Make sure the colors of your walls and furnishings are in neutral colors: beige, cream and pastel colors like light blue, green or yellow. Avoid prints.
3) Get rid of clutter. If you have a lot of small items around the house, pack them up. Make sure your closets are 1/3 full.
4) If you have a pet, make sure you remove them from the home when it is showed, or at least put them in a crate.
5) Make sure that all the light bulbs in the house are at maximum voltage. The lighter the better.
