Buying or Selling a Home - selling with a contract

Question
can i sell my house on contrcat if i still have a mortage on it. i live in illinois

Answer
I would recommend you talk with a REAL ESTATE attorney how it is best in ILLINOIS, Bob. Otherwise, yes, you can. The buyer would get his own financing and pay your mortgage off in the process of buying your house. Or you could use a wraparound (all-inclusive) mortgage to sell your property. That process is a long one to describe to you here. That's why I suggested you consult with an attorney. Also a good (and I do mean GOOD)real estate agent could also help you.

I wish you well.
