Buying or Selling a Home/Foreclosure homes and Realtor Fees

Question
Hi I was wondering if the banks pay fees for buyers with agents?  If you sign the buyer agency agreement and the bank doesn't pay any realtor fees, it falls on the buyer, is that correct?

Answer
Not necessarily, but that is the way it should be in my eyes. If the buyer does pay his Realtor fees, then the buyer can be rested and assured that he will be represented exclusively by that Realtor. The Realtor would then negotiate a price that should compensate for the buyer having paid the Realtor fees. Unfortunately, not too many Realtors are that experienced or knowledgeable how to handle that kind of situation. If the buyer is smart, he/she will pay his Realtor's fee. I wish you well.

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot.
