1. Hasn't received a 1098 since the purchase of the home in 2002.
2. Hasn't received a annual statement since the purchase of the home in 2002
3. Hasn't  received deed of trust.

Notify the mortgage company (the owner) and I was told not to worry about it and hung up on me. What advice can you give me .

Answer
If she bought the house from the mortgage company, then they should not be invloved in it anymore. Who issued the Title Policy? Who represented her in the closing? that is who I would be talking to. The Title company issues deeds of trust. I would contact an attorney to staighten this out for you.
