My husband and I have been buy this mobile home for over 8 years now we have a very high interest rate and and high payment and are getting nowhere on our mortgage amount. I have tried several times to refinance and have been unsuccessful. We would like to just get out of this mobile home and build a house, we own our land and do not want to sell it, is there anyway of selling just our mobile home and keep our land.

Hi Carol...without knowing where you are, and the exact circumstances, I will tell you some basics.
The home CAN be sold, with the condition that it be removed from your land (professionally). For a double-wide it's about $5-7k to disconnect, and reconnect at another location.  You can allow for this in your pricing, after you get a local bid.  It's done all the time, but where you are, and availability of places to put it legally are issues.

If it works out for you, you should consider a brand new manufactured home....same as a site built home, for about half the cost.
