Buying or Selling a Home/mobile home pricing

Question
hello! my sister in law is trying to buy a mobile home and the owner wanted around $12,000 and the mobile home was built in 1973. She talked to another guy who was selling a mobile home for 4395 and built in 1975.  he originally wanted to sell it for 8995 but a friend of his told him that there is a regulation that prevents him from selling it at that price for a trailer that old. Is that true?

Answer
I am sorry, but Ido not know anything as it relates to mobile homes. I suggest you visit a division of motor vehicles department and ask them or a dealer in your area. It is treated like a car, since there is a title, such as a car or trailer. good luck.
