Buying or Selling a Home/Transfer Title

Question
Hi Mike:

My wife's mother is over 83 and going through what looks like dementia. My wife has her power-of-attorney.

What are the steps that we have to take to transfer the title of her in-park mobile home to my wife's name.

The mobile is paid for and she pays park rent.

Answer
Hi Don,
Pretty simple...just find out where your state's H.C.D. office is, (check state website. Bring the original registration and title plus the power of atty. A small fee will be charged....that's it.  Of course if there was ever a lien holder, that must be signed off too.
Good luck......"~ M
