My question is how do you advise trying to market farm/ranch property in another state or area.  I would like to target some of the states where the tax structure is overwhelming, like California.  Our property is +/- 200 acres which is an equine facility that looks like a golf course.  Beautifully maintained and quality construction on the buildings.  There is no "house" but excellent building sites.  We have living quarters in the barn. It is a unique property looking for the right buyer.

Answer
Do you have it listed with a Farm & Ranch Realtor? That would be my first choice. There are lots of places to advertise and market horse properties, we always have an ad running in those specific areas and distribute to a cliental that is in that business only. We know which agents in our MLS sell those type of properties and we market to those agents also. But California is it's own world!
