Question
We are looking into building on our existing lot that we live at.  We currently live in a manufactured home (on a frame) and wonder if there is any market out there or any means of selling our existing home and moving it so we can build a new one. We would like to stay at our present location but are not quite happy with the house.  We live in Western NY state 40 miles from Rochester.  Was wondering if you would know how to get info on this.  Thanks for any info.

Dana...If you own the land, you can do what ever you want with the home, however, parks generally want new homes installed.  This would be difficult to sell to someone else unless they also owned a lot.
The market conditions are slow, but it's always about the price nowadays.
I would contact a local mobile home dealer (or 2, and go over it with them.  We use Skylineomes, and they might refer you to a local dealer in your area....Good luck   MM
