Hi,

Do you think web sites such as mlalistings.com or
craigslist.org have in some ways made realtors obsolete?
Have you found more sellers starting to use for sale by
seller alternatives then going through a realtor? If so, do
you think today's economy has played a part?

Answer
I don't think these sites make agents obsolete and therefore the economy didn't play a part.  Real Estate is too big a transaction for people to go it alone with representation.  Many ads in Craigslist are put there by agents.  It is just another advertising forum
