Question
What should I consider when deciding to replace (sliding glass) doors and other repairs (dry wall, etc.) before selling a lakeside home in Central Flaorida. What if tne future buyer, soon to be sought, wants different style and priced products.
Hi Doug, good for you for rehabbing your house before you sell. This will give you more money in the long run. I recommend replacing the sliding glass doors with french doors, this is a more up to date look and you will see more return for your money. As for drywall, it's pretty much the same everywhere so you just need to make the necessary repairs. I wouldn't worry too much if the potential seller likes your choice of repairs, if they don't they will change it later.
