Question
i was thinking of selling my mobile home in vermont and i know that the inspection of it would be kind of hard to pass due to repairs, i cannot afford to fix them and was inquiring for some advice to get to where i need to be to sell the home and be able to at least break evem

Answer
Hi Shelby,

I would suggest first that you obtain written estimates for correcting everything that needs to be repaired.  Then I would reduce the price of the mobile home by the total repair amount and try to find a buyer.

You might want to contact some mobile home dealers in your area.  Many times, mobile home dealers are also investors and will purchase properties.  If your land is in a desirable area in Vermont, or you have acreage, this could be attractive to a mobile home dealer/investor.

Good luck to you, and feel free to write again if you have additional questions.

Regards,
Elizabeth
