Buying or Selling a Home/Mold

Question
If I am selling a home that had mold in it at one point but the situation has been fixed do I have to tell the buyer?

Answer
Dear Bart,

Usually the best answer is that if you have to ask if you should disclose then you should disclose.  If the mold has been remediated the buyer will have the opportunity to do whatever due diligence they want and it comes up later and become a big issue.  You should provide whatever paperwork you have to show the remediation.

Hope this helps.
