Question
Is it typical for a seller to pay half the closing costs for the buyer. I know everything is negotiable. the house is selling for 400.000.00 what should closing costs fees run?

Answer
It's not typical for the seller to pay the buyer's closing costs. Typically each pays their own. You can ask them to credit you a certain amount toward your closing costs but it's not typical unless they are desperate. Escrow can give you an estimate but I would guess around $5000.
