What are the factors that make a good investment when buying a house?  I would like to start investing in homes, but am a little scared to end up losing. What things are very important when looking for a house?  I am interested in this particular house, but I don't know if it is a good buy.  Most of the houses are priced above the selling price, which happens to be also the value of the house.  I understand that the value is not the same thing as the appraisal value for tax purposes.(My current house is appraise much lower than what it's worth since we have updated it.)  I would appreciate it  if you could respond asap as this house,according to my instinct, will go fast.

Most homes sell quickly that are good buys. The best thing you can do is hook up with a good REALTOR in your area and they can send you the good buys as they come on the market because they will only last a few days. I can recommend one if I knew where you were located.
