Question
Hi,

I have a question about utilities: I want to save the most money from it:

I live in an apartment of four rooms with 6 people: I pay the following for utilities:

1. Electricity $110
2. Cable, Internet, Phone bill: $67
3. Water $290
4. Food $500
5. Car $300

It look a little over:

How do I save the most money from all of this? eg. can I used less gas by getting free gas mileage.  Can I used better electricity wire.  Can I spend less on food by using coupon.  How do I save the most money from these utilities?

Note: can you answer each one with specific answers.

Answer
HENRY--

I don't know who you sent your AllExperts Inquiry to, but it wasn't me. I found it in the QUESTION BOX and saw that it had been unanswered for almost a month now.I suspect that whoever you sent it to should have eiother REJECTED it, as it's Questions are really ones that a Real Estate "Expert" can't answer. Or ANSWERED it by telling you that "free gas mileage" certainly would help, but "better electricity wire" wouldn't be helpful--using less electricity would! Clipping and using Coupons can keep your Grocery Bills down, unless you have to drive all over town to get one thing here & another there. And you have to be careful that you don't "overpay" for things that aren't on Coupon.Have your family turn off lights in rooms when leaving a room, don't use more water than needed, and walk or Bike whenever possible!

How can you save the most money? First,DEVELOP A FAMILY BUDGET that directs a certain amount of your monthly income to the "Neccessities,"then directs any other income to "Fun" stuff," and "stick to the BUDGET." Next open a SAVINGS ACCOUNT,and make a "Neccessities" deposit to it every month!

Good Luck, Henry!
