Question
My grandmother passed 4 yrs ago my grandfather passed in 1985 his estate was never settled my grammothers either. They owned a home my uncle lives there and now there is a back tax claim from the city can i do something so i can get ownership threw the city so the house can stay in the family? My uncle refuses to move what can I do? I want the house.

Answer
Dear Diana;
First of all; is the home rightfully (as per will) your uncle's home?  If so, then you have no claim to it other than going to him to offer to help him out of it by paying the back taxes and buying the home from him.  An attorney might be able to find some loophole for you to take ownership of the home but unless your uncle is in danger of losing the home and the home goes to auction for back taxes you will not be able to do much without your uncle's permission.  Talk to an attorney though and find out what he/she can do to help.

Experience

Anyone who is in this business and who dedicates oneself to professionalism has continued to take classes and along with it,additional credentials, awards and honors. I can list a host of them, but my greatest accomplishments happen to be those of getting first time buyers (who didn't think they could afford to buy a home)into a home of their dreams. The look on their faces when I hand over the keys is worth all of the hard work.
