Question
My two sisters and I have inherited my mother's old mobile home in a senior park near Palm Springs, CA. What must we do to transfer the title, insurance, license, etc. from our mother to us?
Hi Larry....simply take the title, reg. and death cert. to your local HCD(Housing and Community Development) office. Bring whatever you have to show your interest, ie will or trust papers. Small fee should be expected, and you are done.
Don't forget to get park approval before moving in....if you sell, then new buyer must qualify.
