Question
I have a 1987 Champion doublewide. I looked for the HUD certification # on the gable ends of the house, in the kitchen cabinets, cannot find it.  I have the vin# for the trailers.  Is there a way to get the HUD certification and the wind zone rating using the trailers vin#?

Hi Susan, the #s you are looking for are on the rear of the home.  A metal plate is riveted to each half of the home(doublewide). If they have been covered up by siding, or paint, look on the reg., or title for HUD, or Insignia # on it...more than likely it is a 6 digit #...good luck...."~ M

PS I have had to rip off siding to get at a number!
