Question
Then it appears the original seller of the manufactured home committed a type of fraud?  since the land is in fiance's name, can we evict the manufactured home from the property?  the two were never deeded together.  And where can I find the rules concerning Seller Responsibility in Texas.

Answer
Based on how you presented your dilemma, Kim, you are now in Legal Remedy land. That means your next step is to find a good TX real estate attorney and get your dilemma solved. Yes, I suppose it is going to cost, but a good attorney would be able to get your fees refunded by SOMEBODY. Maybe that good attorney would take this case on a contigency basis once he/she knows somebody is at fault. Be well.

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
