Buying or Selling a Home/lien and judgment report

Question
How do you tell which is a first or second lien when they are both done on the same day with the same bank.   We have a lien and
judgment report.

Answer
Yes, they may be recorded on the same day, Darrell, but if you will notice that one of them has a time stamp on it that probably is a few minutes older than the other. The one with the older time stamp (by the county recorder) is the first lien (mortgage, note, etc.) I do wish you well.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
