Buying or Selling a Home/No title on mobile home, cannot sell

Question
Me and my ex-husband purchased a mobile home and two acres on Lay Lake approximately 3 1/2 years ago.  It was quite pricy due to it being on the water ($196,000). We are trying to sale the home or refinance so he can buy me out and have found out that there is no title on the home. The bank was aware of this three years ago, but did nothing, they told us they would take care of it. Now, we are unable to sale or anything without a title. What can we do? I need your help.  Thanks so much!!

After you have asked the seller and the bank in certified letters and you get no response or an unsatisfactory answer, there is only one thing you can do, Debbie, and that is to hire a good real estate attorney to set things right, and that would include (possibly, but not likely) get your money back for your purchase of it. In any case, be sure to have the seller of the property pay for your attorney fees in this matter. The attorney will point out to you what will be done. I do wish you well.
