I would like to give my daughter my 1973 doublewide, is there a certain forum that I need to use for this document? I live in the state of Alabama. Thank You, Dolores
Hi Dolores,
Depending on how you took title to the doublewide, some of the older titles are actually like an auto title, you would just take care of this at the DMV and gift it to her.
If it is in Real title, then you just need to deed it over to her as a gift of -0- dollar consideration.
Depending on the price will depend on the gift taxes she will be encumbered with, have her check with the person who works her taxes.
