its been hell buying this house.  new laws and every week asking for more things to fax or sign.  but friday they called told me to do a wire transfer to the title company., it has to be done right away before monday, or we wont close, they said its a new law that was passed in january, that if you are putting 50.000 or more down you have to do a wire transfer , no money orders alowed. i am worry cause i have not signed any papers on loan and this money is out there, and come monday they could say we never got it, 15 years ago i bought a home put down 5.000  closed on home, mortgage was 606.00. 2 months later it went to 789.00. they clained they never got the money , tile company said they sent it , bank kept saying they dont have it, i lost that money, 3 years fighting, title company said we cant help you its been 3 years

Sorry to read your plight, Ted, but what do you want ME to do? You should be working with a real estate agent who should know enough to make sure your transaction goes through all right. A good real estate agent is the person you should be using so you don't have to tolerate the treatment you are getting. If the home is bank owned, I know for a fact that you should be working with a GOOD real estate agent. Present your problems to him/her or get yourself a better one. Or talk to the manager of his/her office and tell him/her you want better agent. I do wish you well.
