Question
Can u use a hardship withdraw from your 401k as a down payment to buy a home.

Answer
Hi Thomas,

Your question should be directed to an accountant or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) who is up to date on the regulations regarding withdrawals from 401K’s.

Sorry I could not help, but this is not my area of expertise and by law, I cannot advise you on this.

Good luck to you, and feel free to write again if I can help with any real estate questions in my area of expertise.
